Perinatal mental health issues are the leading cause1 of maternal mortality in America, and left untreated, they can lead to preterm delivery, difficulty bonding with the child, and much more. In response, VMAP acquired additional state funding to launch a perinatal expansion—VMAP for Moms+.
Who is VMAP for Moms+ For?
VMAP for Moms+ was developed for Virginia prescribers who provide care to pregnant and postpartum individuals and/or their children. This includes OB/GYNs, primary care clinicians, midwives, pediatricians, and psychiatrists.
The VMAP for Moms+ Line
